Coding Images in Posts

Andy Skeleton
Andy has posted a short tutorial for theme creators on effectively coding images in posts so not to break the design in IE 6, something often over looked in theme development (myself included).
For those not in the know, Andy is one of the brilliant minds behind the new Sandbox theme, and has incorporated many forward thinking ideas into it, this being just one of many.

WordPress how-to: Theme Options

The undersigned

A short, very informative tutorial on how to add an options page to your custom theme. I just had the need to include a functions.php file for the first time, so this tutorial, and the included template for the options page is exactly what I was looking for in taking theme design to the next level. Undersigned has provided several great tutorials lately, including this post on SEO and WordPress. In his *spare* time, he’s also updating the ever popular theme viewer. Just another example why the WP community is one of the best.

Ecto Blog Client Review – Restarted

Mac’s Journal

Recently I posted a link to Mac’s Journal review of Qumana, a desktop blogging client. This week, he’s posted an indepth review of Ecto, another popular client. Further details are on the blog, including some clarifications on errors he experienced with a previous version of the app. More and more of these clients seem to be useful, and with inline tagging for apps like Ultimate Tag Warrior, they may prove to be even more functional.
