iStef.info V4 Theme
First up, this site is completely in Japanese (I think?), so bear with me in sorting out the theme. Regardless of the site’s language, the theme itself appears completely functional for English speaking bloggers. A right hand sidebar with styles in pink, blue, and Christmas included, this theme also supports several plugins and third party services like Ultimate Tag Warrior and Delicious. Worth a look.

Christmas Gifts Theme for WordPress
One of the better Christmas themes I’ve seen, this two column theme, with a right hand sidebar, uses sharp graphics for a nice overall effect. Worth a look if you are looking to spruce up your blog for the holidays.

Interesting approach to user customization. Simply drag images to a “wallpaper” folder, and mini icons are automatically generated, allowing visitors to choose the image to be a fixed background. Otherwise, a two column theme featuring rounded corners, widget support, and options page.

hyalineskies
Hylaineskies has released their previous design for public consumption. Featuring a “magazine” like layout, with the latest post from a featured category getting top billing, the second most recent from the same category below that in a smaller posting, then a section for a secondary featured category’s latest post beside that.
Below that is a section for del.icio.us links. The clean, black and blue on white design also features a right hand sidebar and stylish “about” section. All configurable from an admin options page.
All in all, a great break from the linear “blog like” designs that generally are churned out. The theme would make a great start for businesses or bloggers who tend to not post too often, and don’t want the front page showing a long list of outdated posts.

Christian Montoya
Christian is releasing his retired WP design, a “totally clean and lightweight HTML/CSS layout, with a semi-liquid layout that is highly flexible in the latest browsers”.
A really great design that I’m sure any designer could learn a few things from if nothing else.

Based on an open source design from Six Shooter Media,
It’s called warped and the colour scheme/style is based on a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers of the same title. Besides that its a simple, fluid template which makes use of the traditional layout style; A header, a navigation area, a side column, a maint content area and a footer.
Very sharp, and probably quite customizable.

Troidus
Indranil is offering up this two column, left hand sidebar theme for download now. As the name suggests, the predominant color is brown, with sorta cream colored highlights. Interesting approach to post date, as well as identifying links almost as buttons.

A nice, two column theme, with a left hand sidebar has been released. Based on an open source design, this version sports a striking blue gradient in the header, with a nice contrasting blue for headers and links to the the black background. A very straight forward design, it seems to lend itself to customization and further development. Definitely a great starting point for those looking to adopt a new look.

Solostream Small Business Blog
A clean, simple, two column, right hand sidebar theme with widget support. Red dominates the color scheme, which sports a nice amount of white space.
Also, a nice feature is the “featured post”, which sets off the top most post from the rest.

Oops. Sorry, didn’t post this one earlier. A clean, two column theme with a right-hand sidebar, also with some AJAX implementation. I really like the use of white space, and the contrast of red and grey on the white background. Definitely a great starting point for someone looking to customize their theme. Slight warning, the site is Italian (I think), but there is a small English blurb to help.
