X blog -brushed metal WordPress theme

EDIT, part duexOK. Basic IE functionality is done. Only noticable issue is with the search box, being slightly shifted down. Which, for, now I can live with. Who really wants a Mac OS X styled theme to really work w/IE anyways ;)

EDIT It appears this theme doesn’t play nice with IE, I’ll have to do some tweaking to make it so. Check back soon for a fixed design.

Here it is! The release of a new WordPress theme, X blog. The theme is a port of a design by R.J. Kaplanthat was posted at Open-Source Web Design. The theme is an obvious nod at Apple’s brushed metal look. I think I’ve covered all the bases, but feel free to leave a comment if you have any problems.
I’ve included a readme file, that explains a few options, as well as included a photoshop file that allows for customizing the header, such as the one here. The default header is very similar to the box for Mac OS X.

So I came across this design over at Open Source Web Design LobsterMan said do with what you’d like, I thought, hey, that would be a good addition to the WP community. So, I took it apart, and WP’ed it. It still needs some work, so I’m testing it out here at WP Station. IF you see something wonky, drop some feedback, or if you’d like to give it a run your self, see the contact form on the colophon. If I get enough replies, I’ll release it early, otherwise, it should be good to go in a week or so. But please, ANY feedback much appreciated.
Oh, a few notes, you can see the default header here I just had found this header image for a custom theme for this site, and wanted to start using it. I’ll include a .psd file of the header image without the default background, just the brushed metal border, in the release. Maybe even play around with being able to simply use 2 images, one for the header, one for the header image div, so if someone doesn’t have photoshop, they could have a custom header. We’ll see.
