Iceburgg

Several “wintery”/Christmas themes have been released lately, most however have been simple 2 column themes with a header image sounding the season. Iceburgg brings some modern design elements to it, though I’m not a fan of the blue and white candy cane background. I do like the single column look, with a faux sidebar for each post. The bottom of the page is split into 3 columns, with listing of categories, search, and a customizable “about”. Not a theme for those who like a sidebar with lots of add ons, but if you are looking for a clean theme for the winter season, Iceburgg is worth a look.

Dan Cameron 2.doh

Dan has packaged his current theme, sans ads, and released it to the public. A very stylish, single column theme, with numerous plugins supported. Another nice feature are expandable panels for each post, containing additional info on comments, related posts, tags, etc.
A great theme for those looking for a modern, albeit a bit dark, theme, or theme developers looking for some fancy code to incorporate into their new design.

Satori: WP Theme

yukei.net

A beautiful theme, featuring a single column, with the “big footer” or bottom sidebar as some may call it. Lots of whitespace, pleasing colors, a generally good addition to the theme community. Also supports several plugins, including del.icio.us cached and related entries.
Nice feature is a small arrow at the top to take the visitor to the bottom content area.
Warning though, site is in Spanish, but download link is easily identifiable.

Update:Not only is the site in Spanish, but the theme is too. I really like this theme, and will be looking at translating it to English.

Sleek Theme

Has updated his theme, sleek. Using some CSS magic, the header and footer stay stationary, and the single column content scrolls, so it’s a slightly different approach to the blog look.
