Still catching up from some of the recent theme releases, and I’d be remiss not to mention this port of an open source design. Though others have attempted to do this for WordPress already, I’d argue to say that this version is the best representation of the design, with attention spent on the comments output to mention just one reason it’s a worth a look if you are looking for a “web 2.0″ style design. It has a definite Hemmingway feel to it. All in all a well done port, and something aspire to in my attempt to port Aqueous.

Hmm, perhaps I should come up with a discombobulated stream of consciousness theme and call it Kerouac…but to the point, a new theme making the circuit (it’s been added to wordpress.com’s slowly growing selection of themes). A theme in the mold of Squible, that is, not a “traditional” blog theme with linear post order and sidebar. Rather, Hemmingway features the two most recent posts in an upper section, and a lower section with an about, recent posts, and categories. This theme is screaming for an asides catgory, and the “about” might better serve that purpose. Still at .1, this theme will have more tweaked, so stay tuned, and if you are looking for a different design, this might worth a look.
