I’ve posted some links to reviews to some blogging clients in the past, but this is a nice, concise wrap up of most of the currently available ones.
I’ve personally been playing around with Ecto, and intend on testing Scribe Fire, however I still find myself just using the little bookmarklet included with WP.
However, if you write longer, more in depth blog posts, you might like the freedom a desktop client provides, as you can work on the draft anywhere, not just while online. You can then just publish, with all your settings in place.

Chrono Tron
Offers a complete review of the Windows blogging client BlogDesk. (since I don’t really use my Windows box for any blogging, I must say I didn’t pay close attention to the post, but I often see bloggers on the quest for the holy grail of blogging clients, so I thought I’d pass it on

Mac’s Journal
A very comprehensive review of a free blogging client, Qumana. I haven’t had a chance to look at the app myself, but I did see it’s available for both Mac and Windows platform. Mac’s review makes it sound as if this is a really handy desktop blogging client, and Quamana offers several other services for bloggers, so it may be a worthwhile app. I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s tried it out.
