WordPress Theme Viewer
Fans of BloggingPro can now have their blog with a similar look, as this 3 column theme has been released for public use. Nice use of white space, a pale blue 2 column right hand sidebar, with a darker blue 3 column footer all contribute to this stylish theme. A few plugins are required for the theme to work out of the box, specifically for the footer sections with recent comments, posts, etc.

This theme will probably prove to be quite popular, as it has a modern, grungy feel. A hybrid, 3 column theme, it features the most recent post in the left most column, with a list of previous entries below that. The right portion of the theme is split into 2 more columns, one with categories, and another for archives (though this can be modified with one caveat - the headings for those two columns are images, so unless you are proficient with Photoshop or Gimp, you will not have the same type headings). Below those two columns is an “about” section that spans the width of the above 2 columns. A search box rounds out the page.
As mentioned, it has that “distressed” feel, with a grayish header, dark background for the bulk of the design, and a contrasting blue footer, all which use images, so again, customization may be limited. I would say the navigation in the header is lacking, however as this was designed for as specific site, then made available, the nav bar may have been originally customized. I’d still like to see a little more prominence or style however. Also worth note is that it’s fixed width, however not with 800px or lower monitors in mind. All in all though, it’s definitely a notch above of the cookie cutter themes that seem to be released on daily basis these day.

A very interesting, 3 column theme, with subtle graphic atop each center column post to offset the starkness of the design that somehow works. Lots of white space, with gray text, accented by a dark purple header text, and magenta link colors. No mention if there’s a simple means to customize the header image, but anyone comfortable with an image editing application shouldn’t have a problem doing so. Looks customizable, though it’s widget ready, so most may not feel the need.

Updated with widget support, this 3 columns liquid/fluid design has left navigation, content and right sidebar, resizes automagically to the resolution of the visitors screen. Also has an options page to choose between multiple color schemes, and features rounded corners and gradient backgrounds for headlines.

Maxwells vs The World
An update of the popular theme, Almost Spring, this in a 3 column version, with a fluid center. Also was optimized for 1024×768 display to not have vertical scroll bar (assuming you don’t add more sidebar content than the default install). All in all, a sharp update to a popular theme.

Has released another WP theme, this one a black 3 column theme, with center content, and 2 flanking sidebars. A definite “grunge” feel to the headlines, not sure if it’s done with a plugin and fonts, or the headlines are images.
Has support for “briefs”, which I assume would be “asides”, as well flickr support. A quality theme, which should be accessible enough for users to customize to their liking.

A fun, 3 column theme, with excellent use of graphics, and another excellent example of porting a static design to WordPress. Light blue and orange make up the primary color scheme. Well worth a look.

A three column, center content theme, that was designed to work with FAlbum (a Flicker plugin). Crisp design, and nice way to work the flickr images in.
