Sirius Theme

blogshop

A new theme set with a heavy dose of admin panel control over the theme. Which means a user can customize the look and feel of the theme without having to get “under the hood”. Multiple color schemes, as well as user defined colors for things like links, as well as control over what appears in the sidebar, as well as several built in plugins. Quite the ambitious project, with more to come from the designer.

Fauna Beta 3

Noscope

Beta 2 introduced some useful new features, but became less stable because of it. Beta 3 is here to fix the stability issues, and add new features. Fauna is now nearly feature complete.

A great theme, that is itching for me to upgrade my personal blog to WP 2.0 and use on, with many many built in features and options. Definitely a great example of what some of the new features in WordPress can produce.

Squible Beta 1

Squible

Now out of beta, with many enhancements, as well as only be 2.0 compatible. Removal of tables, changes in the Flickr support, an options page to configure the main page, and many more features fixed/added.
For those not familiar with Squible, it’s a theme along the lines of K2, with many built in functions. A different approach in design as well, as it eschews the standard sidebar feature, rather has a more modular design. All of which combine to bring a different approach to using WordPress, and blogging in general.

Obligitory “I’ve updated to 2.0″ Post

Finally got around to gather together all the 2.0 versions of the plugins used on WPStation, and went through the upgrade process. Did accidentally delete one subdirectory that I forgot that was there, otherwise, only real issue was some permissions problems with themes, and not being able to see a page template when creating a new page. So if anything looks out of place or broken Contact me with details. It will be greatly appreciated.
