Tony St
Has released another WP theme, this one a black 3 column theme, with center content, and 2 flanking sidebars. A definite “grunge” feel to the headlines, not sure if it’s done with a plugin and fonts, or the headlines are images.
Has support for “briefs”, which I assume would be “asides”, as well flickr support. A quality theme, which should be accessible enough for users to customize to their liking.

Pop-Up Image Gallery Updated
Yellow Swordfish
Has updated the very well done image gallery plugin. Now supports slide show style, and several other enhancements. Well done, and well supported, definitely worth a look if you are in the need of an image gallery for your WP install.
Balance Alpha .1 Released
Thought Mechanics
From the creator of Squible and many of the quality themes that were available when I first started using WP (minimaplus was my first theme to tear apart), comes Balance, a narrow single column theme (sort of) that uses a lot of plugins and some nifty AJAX to hide older posts. Support for flickr, tags, asides, and more.
Theme: Remember
The popular and talented WP theme designer Beccary has released a revamped version of an old design, purple turtle.
The current theme sports a couple of fish in the upper right corner (that can be swapped out) a deep plum color scheme, with fantastic graphics as usual. It’s a two column design, with a right hand sidebar.
While your visiting, check out the other themes that is offered at the site. All quality work.
Plugin: Email Users
Vicent Prat
This plugin could be useful for sites that utilize the roles feature of WordPress. It allows for emails to be sent to registered users based on their role. So if you just want to contact the contributers, for instance, this makes it easy to do directly from your admin panel. It simply adds as new submenu to your write panel.
2.light Theme
Has released a clean, minimalist 2 column design. With a right hand sidebar and available in 6 colors, this design could well be a great starting point for would be modders.
My Widget
Kaf over at guff.szub.net has released a new widget meant to be a learning tool for neophyte widget makers every where.
Foliage Mod
A great new theme released to the community. Not highly customizable, but nice use of AJAX. If you are looking for a darker, modern design with support for several plugins built in, this could well be for you.
WordPress: France v2
Congrats to the folks over at WordPress France on their new site design. I couldn’t get the FF translate extension I’m using to work, so truthfully I can’t really expound on the design. I do really like the W graphic, Matt and Co. should take a look at adopting it for the N. American version.
