I must have been half asleep when I first looked at this plugin, as I didn’t understand its purpose. Alas, now I do. Kramer helps you get a better idea of who’s linking to you, even if they don’t have pingback enabled. Gonna give it a go, and see what happens.

You could also view it as a “Pingbacks for the needy” charity application… giving the power of Pingback to those who lack it.
