Has released a plugin to allow for the convenient addition of colored stars to posts. Could be useful for sites that do reviews. Author confirms plugin works with the RC3 for WP 2.0, as well as 1.5.2.

Another port of an OSWD.org design from the popular Adreas line. A position:fixed left handed sidebar. Subtle colors, lots of room for customization.
In the next day or two, WP 2.0 should be released (I believe the final RC was let out today, for any last minute bugs). Which means now would be a great time to backup all your files, including your database. Even if you don’t intend to grab a copy hot off the press, backing up is always a smart move. It’s much easier to learn how to import a DB into a clean install, than to learn the hard lesson of not having files backed up (see miklb start backing up his laptop now).

At first read, it sounds like a plugin to eliminate comments, but actually zap is the unique tag indentifier for the plugin, I’m assuming do the author’s name or site (it’s in German). The function of the plugin is actually to list just posts titles of recently commented on posts. Though the site is in German, the author has added a “view in English” link to instantly translate the page. Just another expample of the growing plugin database to further customize your site.

Is offering up a new theme. As the name implies, it is a modern approach to blog design, with nice use of CSS effects in the page navigation in the header. Subtle colors, the design would work in a variety of sites, and could easily be adapted for a more CMS approach.

Mostly a maintance release, I’ve switched to the original hi-res images the original author created. I also added a commented out section if one chooses to use the Ultimate Tag Warrior tag cloud.
As always, any questions, or suggestions, just leave a comment.
I’ve also added the theme switcher plugin to the site, so you can see the theme in action.

Has released an update to the handy plugin Subscribe2, which allows users to signup to recieve an email notification when a post is posted. (Handy for those readers who haven’t grapsed RSS). Already in waiting will be a version for 2.0, so he’s also looking for beta testers for that.

Has offered up a nifty plugin using DHTML to list your del.icio.us bookmarks in a drop down list in your sidebar (or where ever you care to list them). Each tag is a heading, and then clicking offers up the dropdown of the actual bookmarks. Demo on author’s site.
